I was one of Terry's teachers so I'm going to be a little tough on him and not give him a five star review, but mostly because I see signs for improvement. I just started Chophouse 2 and I am already seeing signs of that improvement. I will say that although this isn't my favorite genre, Chophouse engaged me and made me want to see what happened next, and that is my number one standard for a good book. I saw glimpses of Stephen King in Terry's work, and I can't think of a better compliment to give him. Terry, if you are reading this, I am very proud of you. Nothing new here just a average horror book,gets better in the middle and then a bit silly at the end
What a fantastic book. I have had it for months, when I got it, I couldn't put it down. Very thrilling and action packed. Highly recommend this book if you like horror and thrillers. A must read for all book readers. If you aren't into these kinds of books, but you have always wondered, let this be your first. It will make you want to read more! Can't wait for the next installment!
If you like Richard Laymon books then you'll love HORNS. If you've ever watched a slasher movie then you'll love this book. With every detailed scene it's like watching a movie while reading. I can't wait for Chophouse 2 & finding anything and everything HORNS!
